The California Playground Safety Regulations require that Public Playground Owners develop a program for regular inspections and maintenance of their playgrounds to assure that the equipment continues to comply with the regulations.  The regulations do not specify the frequency of inspections; that should be determined by evaluating the use and environment of the specific playground.
