The Department of Justice has adopted the Accessibility Guidelines for play Areas as part of the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design.

The Standards may be used now but compliance will be mandatory for all public use facilities on March 15, 2012.  Check out our ADA Accessible Design Standards page for full details on this subject.
