NEWS Accessibility Guidelines for Play Areas - The Consumer Product Safety Commission has an on line course and The National Playground Safety Institute teaches a three hour course. ASTM F 1487-07ae1 - Now available at www.astm.org
CPSC Handbook #325 - A final draft was published on April 21, 2008 and is now available at www.cpsc.gov There is a disclaimer notice on the cover of the document that states that this is a draft version. That is a formality because CPSC does not have a quorum to adopt the draft as final. This version should be considered as the final - no other version is available from CPSC at this time. This version includes recommendations for Children 6 Months through 36 Months.
NPSI - The changes to the CPSC Handbook, the changes to ASTM F 1487 and the addition of the ASTM F 2373 specification for Children Under Two will require the NPSI course for CPSI's to be updated.
